About eCom Ex-Banker:
eCom Ex-Banker is my first personal blog dedicated to three main aspects; ecommerce, personal finance/ investment, and career sharing.
Personal finance/ Investment
Started my investment journey during my university time with the dream of achieving financial freedom. On the definition of financial freedom, it does not mean to get income by millions. For my context, it means having the monetary stability to do what you want in life without having to worry about bank account.
Would be tapping into financial instruments such as stocks, mutual funds, commodities, P2P, equity crowdfunding (ECF), and cryptocurrency. It would be covering the essential knowledge, do’s and dont’s before you start investing.
eCommerce
eCommerce was already growing fast before 2019, on a scale of at least 2X. However, we have seen the needs for eCommerce have grown exponentially ever since the outbreak of Covid-19. Since then,we have changed the way of groceries shopping, and this behavior is expected to last even this pandemic turns to endemic.
WIth my current job working closely on eCommerce, I would be sharing some of the knowledge from both shoppers and sellers perspective. The ultimate aim is to help people with no eCommerce experience to get onboard.
Career sharing
I have no formal qualifications or credentials to give career advice. What I have is past experiences that could be a 2 cent sharing. It would be topic from employee, employer (your boss, future HR) point of views. As someone that jumps industry, the key message that I would like to deliver - break your comfort zone.
